My philosophy is to provide children and families with high quality care.
I believe that each child is an individual with his/her own strengths, interests and needs. I acknowledge children from all backgrounds regardless of gender, socio-economic background and race.
I believe in extending and complimenting the home by providing a loving, stable and secure environment in which children can develop to his/her potential. All children are equal.
In regards to my program children will learn through play and the program will focus on all areas of development, social, physical, emotional, intellectual and creative. I believe in fostering childrens self esteem using praise and acknowledging their efforts.
By encouraging positive interactions between children they can develop positive friendships, be considerate of others and develop an awareness and appreciation of and respect for each families culture and background.
Parents are the best teachers and by working together with families it will ensure that children develop a strong feeling of self worth and learn to be independent little people.
